Progreso Latino USA moves Towards Creating a Resilient Organization

We’ve embarked upon an exciting project with Progreso Latino in Central Falls, Rhode Island, USA. The project is about creating a Resilient Organization who’s mission and strategic plan is aligned with the conditions and capabilities within which it operates.  Progreso Latino is a non-governmental organization that serves the hispanic population in Rhode Island’s urban core. They believe in being an empowerment organization as opposed to a strictly service organization.

As a key element of this project, the entire Board of Directors is undergoing the Resilient Organizations process training.  This includes the multi-scale conditions analysis as well as mapping key capabilities and network connections.  This is a great project that is well aligned with the Resilient Futures approach to engaging, Corporations, NGO’s and Government entities as the three pillars of Resilient places.

Resilient Futures founder, Larry Quick will be flying in from Perth, WA to help facilitate a half-day intensive workshop on June 14th that promises to be powerful and groundbreaking event.

Stay tuned!
