I saw a quote from Bill Gates today which reminded me of last year’s US tour on the addiction to business as usual: “Success is a lousy teacher. It seduces smart people into thinking they can’t lose.”
This sums up a lot of bits in the strategic risk discussion – many years of success can be dangerous.
