Larry Quick is the author of the Resilient Futures process and its application to a variety of industry, organizational and community environments, programs and projects in the USA and Australia. He is also the founder of the Resilient Futures Network.

In his past lives he has worked as a civic, corporate and policy strategist with organizations (eg. GM, Telstra, Simplot) and a variety of government agencies and communities. Larry piloted his work in resilience in business in the 1990’s, and in early 2000 extended his reach into economic development. In 2004 he was engaged by the RI Economic Policy Council to commence eight projects in Rhode Island, USA. This saw the commencement of a major adoption of resilience in RI, and the application of the Resilient Futures framework to whole-place development.

Today Larry focuses on expanding the thinking and process of Resilient Futures, teaching and talking about Resilient Futures, and advising the growing network of partners and practitioners.

Larry is also a member of New Commons, a US based think tank.
